Our curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of every child at Hudson Road, regardless of prior learning or individual need. We believe every child should have the opportunity to access everything our curriculum has to offer in every subject area.

Our detailed Hudson Road curriculum approach reflects our belief that children need to develop self-responsibility and independence alongside essential knowledge and key basic skills in order to become successful life-long learners. Our curriculum is innovative and designed to inspire and engage all of our children.

Alongside carefully planned literacy and mathematics lessons, we plan a themed approach to learning for Foundation subjects with subject specific knowledge and skills that build using children’s own inquiry skills. The requirements of the National Curriculum and Development Matters form our starting points.
